Lecture phase ended on Friday and I am now on my way to Papua New Guinea. The past few lecture weeks I learned about the lordship of Jesus, the father-heart of God, relationships, missions, and worldview. During lordship week I was challenged to make sure that I was giving every area of my life to God. During father-heart and relationships week I learned about how my parents represent God and affect how I see Him. I also learned better how to respect others in different kinds of relationships. The boys also had the opportunity to bless the girls with a fancy breakfast at the end of the week. During missions and worldview week I learned about God's heart for all nations throughout the whole Bible into modern times. Two weekends ago I was able to go to Milford Sound, which is one of most beautiful places in New Zealand most people would say. I am currently staying overnight at the Aukland YWAM base and tommorow I will continue on with my team to New Britain Papua New Guinea. We will stay Two weeks in Guvuvu. We will then travel through the jungle of New Britain with some of the locals of Guvuvu for two weeks. After this we will go to Kokopo on the east side of New Britain for two weeks.
I have found out my outreach location. I will be going to Papua New Guinea! I am so excited to see how God will use me and the rest of my team there. There are seven students and two leaders going.

I would love if you could join me in praying for Christians all over the world during these next three days. It is beautiful and powerful thing to pray in unity with other Christians.

During the first three months, I will learn more about God to be able draw closer to Him with fewer distractions while training to be a short-term missionary. Then, in the last 3 months, our class will be sent out to another country so that we can put into practice what we learn and share the gospel with others. This DTS usually sends their classes to Fiji, Papua New Guinee, or Indonesia. While I am unsure which of these countries I will go to yet, I will update you when I find out. I will depart on January 19th and return on June 22nd. I am thrilled to be able to spend half a year focusing on Jesus and obeying His command to share the gospel to the ends of the earth. I believe this is somet...
